Selected work / Experience in practice

Better questions.
Real places.

From a conference-room doorway to a housing development, the question is practical: can someone use this place and participate on their own terms?

Selected consulting engagements and civic contributions from Stewart Tucker Lundy’s work, alongside media and technology experience.

Housing / Accessibility consulting

The Tapestry

Role: Accessibility Consultant · Gorman & Company

Stewart contributed a lived-experience accessibility perspective to the Tapestry development team, participating in proposal and interview preparation, design discussions, and project support.

The work brought everyday questions about movement, independence, and participation into conversations while the project was taking shape.

Housing / Consulting engagement

The Gibson

Gorman & Company · 9th and Grant

A separate engagement focused on bringing disability experience into housing design and planning. The agreed scope included design-team meetings, accessibility recommendations, community connections, and written input on mobility and housing in Denver.

Focus: making lived experience useful to a development team’s decisions.

Workplace / Completed consultation

The Colorado Health Foundation

Accessibility feedback and on-site walkthrough · 2024

A simple observation raised a consequential question: could Stewart leave the conference room independently?

During an on-site consultation, he provided accessibility feedback about using the space. The foundation later confirmed hands-free door-opening mechanisms in conference rooms and restrooms, thanking him for his input.

Contribution: lived-experience feedback alongside the foundation’s existing facilities planning and staff input.

Public space / Civic contribution

A place to walk.
A place to roll.

Civic Center · Denver

Stewart contributed accessibility input to Civic Center improvements, including the amphitheater and the routes people use to move through the space.

His perspective centers on participation: how people arrive, move, gather, and share public life. Walking and rolling belong in the same design conversation.

Media & technology experience

Another way into the conversation.

In the Room

Stewart participated in an immersive interview project exploring human experience through spatial media. His involvement connects to his everyday use of Apple Vision Pro and interest in how people encounter new technology.
